Just compare these two web sites by yourself, one is www.johor.gov.my (or www.johordt.gov.my) another one is www.segamat.8talk.net. The 1st one is our state gov official web site and the last one is a web site setup by Rakyat Malaysia. Our State Gov Web site did not mention any single word about the flood so please do not hope they can provide valueble information for helping flood victim. This is clearly show that either our gov do not know how to make use of ICT or they do not really care. If you visit www.segamat.8talk.net, I'm very proud to be Rakyat Malaysia, our rakyat is strong, caring and fully utilise any resources we have, but our gov is so ignorance on ICT, so weak/poor on managing the resource they have (entrusted by us). How can they be our leader to lead us on ICT? How can we continue to entrust them our future ?
just very simple reason...this is action of god to revenge the people in Johor and Pahang to vote and let the BN won all for the pass election!!! otherwise, how could it happen and not to others state...so, at least ur all know what to do for coming election!!!
Besides the reason of inefficient sewage and draining system in Malaysia, we have overlooked the MAIN FACTOR.
WHY we getting more and more rain every year? 2003 Penang, 2004 Kelantan, 2005 Perlis, Kedah and now 2006 Johor, Melaka. The rainfall is usually high, compared year-to-year over record.
The reason is not GOD want to punish BN or PAS or DAP. The earth is taking revenge.

I strongly agree and salute to comment 1& 2, the govt only take rakyat advantages in raising petrol, toll, electric and water but not helping the people in all aspects. Like Dr. M said, the rakyat is very unpatient now, lets stand up for DAP, Keadilan and even PAS is better than bn.
Our government always condemn Singapore government..Please lah..learn from them..how they manage the country. If our government servants have done their duty efficiently to clear and maintain and upgrade the draining system, the flood will not that serious..Ask for salary increament, ask them go to fly kite lah..Malsysian, the choices in your hand...
Don't forget that all these contracts were signed when Dr.M was in power. But Pak Lah still uses the same contract for new highways. So give DAP a chance in the next general election as BN is going to kill your next generation for sure!

Before and when the floods happen, our Menteri Besar Johor keep on telling all this happen is "God Will"..then answer everything. He has done nothing even visit the victims. Is "God Will" or "Voter Will" to make him become Menteri Besar?? Mr. Voter, tell him the answer next General Election.
You know something, all our MPs, MBs, and ministers are only interesting to start and build "NEW" projects and ideas. Spend tax payers money as they will, after that leave all the "SHIT" behind.Year after year tax increase with no logic.
Where can we go from here....heart sick.
where have all our ministers been since the floods happen? just turn out to take some photos for newspaper publishing? what did they do to ease the victims' difficulties?
is PM still in vacation or watching his new yacht?
what actions have thus far been taken to investigate the complaints of officers and army forces asking for bribes for giving helps to victims? is our DPM still in bed?
Johore is the strong-hold state of B.N, wondering what those B.N devout supporter, especially being the flood victims thinking about B.N? or do they believe it is GOD WILL? :D
